BBQ Picnic & Appreciation Party

On June 21st, Vincent messy park, one of the most beautiful parks in Ottawa, embraced the organizers and volunteers of the Yemeni Cultural Night, YCN. The BBQ lasted for more than 5 hours that was full of fun, food, and appreciation to the volunteers who participated in the event. Attendees played various games including cards and soccer. The day was concluded by distributing appreciation certificates to all the volunteers for their enormous efforts that made YCN a glorious event that impressed all the visitors.

Rasha’s WaterCan Campaign

SofterHearts is supporting Rasha Al-Katta , a Yemeni-Canadian humanitarian activist taking measures into her own hands. She is working towards fighting the global water and sanitation crisis. scaling Mt. Kilimanjaro — Africa’s highest peak — to raise awareness and funds to help combat the global water and sanitation crisis.
She raised so far $1,987, and the Campaign Goal is $5,000.
